2nd international urban design conference
Roberts Day Principal, Stephen Moore, is honoured to be presenting at the 2nd International Urban Design Conference to be held on the Gold Coast in September.
Entitled ‘Survival: Implementing Tomorrow’s City’, the conference will look at today’s urban design challenges – from climate change to the financial crisis – and address ways in which we can create self-sufficient, environmentally friendly cities for the future.
Stephen’s presentation will focus on the collapse of suburbia as we know it and how we can create a new form of liveability to guarantee healthy, happy neighbourhoods within sustainable natural environments.
The conference will run from September 2 to 4 and will feature a variety of international and national keynote speakers who will discuss, debate and provide case studies on the subject.
