rebuilding victoria's bushfire-ravaged communities

Marysville was one of the worst hit towns in the 2009 Victorian bushfires – being almost completely destroyed. Despite the trauma, the community has been actively involved in establishing the framework under which the town will be rebuilt. Roberts Day headed a collaborative team that assisted the community in turning its vision into an urban design framework (UDF) and provided expert guidance and advice to ensure rebuilding efforts continued during the development of the UDF.
