Frasers Mandurah was inspired by the idea of "Villages in the Forest". It is a prototype medium density mixed use development set amongst woodland on the banks of the Serpentine River.
The concept plan was the outcome of a Planning Design Forum coordinated and facilitated by Roberts Day. The proposed development resulted in a significant increase in residential yield from 460 dwellings under the existing zoning to 1,250 dwellings, including a range of residential densities and housing types.
Due to the rigorous and collaborative process, the client achieved significant time savings throughout the town planning and environmental statutory assessment processes.
